Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about how pricing works, what's included, and how to get ready for your appointment. Don't see your question? Just ask — we're happy to talk it through.
How much does window cleaning cost?
Window cleaning is priced per pane, so the price scales with how much glass your home actually has — you're never paying a flat rate that assumes a bigger house than yours. Whether you want interior and exterior or exterior only, second stories, screens, and how long it's been since the last cleaning also factor in, which is why we confirm every price for your specific home. Solar panel and gutter cleaning are quoted by the job based on the size and layout of the property. Estimates are free, fast, and no-pressure: send us a few details through the quote form or give us a call. Keep in mind the number we send from photos and details is an estimate — the final price is confirmed once we've seen the house in person, and always before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
Do you clean screens and window tracks?
Yes. Screens are removed, cleaned, and reinstalled, and we wipe sills and brush out tracks as part of a full service. Clean glass behind a dirty screen defeats the purpose.
Can you remove hard water stains?
No — hard water stains are minerals etched into the glass itself, and removing them takes specialty restoration work. It's a different job from window cleaning, and not a service we offer. Regular washing takes off dirt, dust, pollen, and grime, and if what's left behind is etched-in mineral staining, we'll tell you straight rather than charge you for a result we can't deliver.
Is solar panel cleaning safe for my panels?
The way we do it, yes. We wash panels with gentle soap, water, and soft brushes — no abrasives, no harsh chemicals, and no pressure washing. That gentle approach is what panel manufacturers generally recommend.
How often should solar panels be cleaned?
For most homes in the Roseville area, once or twice a year is a sensible rhythm — our long dry summers let dust, pollen, and ash build up for months without rain to knock it down. Homes near farmland, busy roads, or lots of trees may benefit from more frequent cleaning.
What does gutter cleaning include?
We clear all gutters by hand, flush the downspouts so water actually drains, and bag and haul away the debris. If we notice anything while we're up there — sagging sections, loose hangers, standing water — we'll let you know.
Do you handle commercial properties?
Yes. We clean storefronts, offices, and other commercial buildings around Roseville and Placer County, either as a one-time service or on a recurring schedule (weekly, monthly, or quarterly). We're happy to work around your business hours.
How do I get an estimate?
Use the quote form on this site — it takes about two minutes — or call us. A few details and photos are usually enough for us to send you a free estimate. The final price is confirmed when we see the property in person — before any work starts, never after. There's no obligation, and we won't hound you with follow-up calls.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
Not while we're cleaning, no — as long as we can get to everything (side gates unlocked, pets inside, and someone to let us in if we're doing interior work). We do collect payment when the job is done, so we'll sort out how that works with you when we schedule.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Not much is needed. For interior cleaning, it helps to move fragile items off windowsills and pull furniture back from windows where it's easy. For exterior work, unlocked side gates and pets kept inside is all we usually need.
How can I pay?
We take cash, check, and debit. Estimates are free, there's no deposit, and you pay when the work is done.
